Quick answer: The Signature Thermal Butt Lift is a non-surgical treatment that combines Exilis radiofrequency heat, microneedling and PRP to tighten, lift and smooth the skin of the buttocks. It improves firmness, texture and the look of cellulite. It doesn’t add significant volume the way a surgical Brazilian butt lift or implants do. There’s little to no downtime. |
Many people want a firmer, smoother backside, but not surgery. Surgical butt lifts and fat transfers carry real risks and weeks of recovery. The Signature Thermal Butt Lift takes a different approach: it works on the skin and tissue you already have, using heat and your body’s own healing response.
What’s in the treatment
The treatment combines three steps, each with a different job:
- Exilis radiofrequency. Heats the deeper layers of skin and tissue. Heat tightens existing collagen fibers and triggers new collagen production, firming and lifting the area. Learn more in our guide to Exilis body contouring.
- Creates tiny, controlled channels in the skin. These trigger collagen repair and improve texture, stretch marks and dimpling.
- PRP (platelet-rich plasma). Made from a small sample of your own blood, PRP is applied to the treated skin. Its growth factors support healing and collagen production.
[Provider note: confirm the treatment’s new name, the Exilis model used, and the exact steps and order of each session.]
What it can and can’t do
It can:
- Firm and tighten loose skin on the buttocks and the area where buttocks meet thighs.
- Give a subtle lift as the skin tightens.
- Smooth the look of cellulite and dimpling.
- Improve skin texture and some stretch marks.
It can’t:
- Add significant volume or change your shape the way a surgical Brazilian butt lift (fat transfer) or implants can.
- Replace exercise. Glute training builds the muscle underneath. This treatment improves the skin on top. Together they work best.
Who is a good candidate?
This treatment suits you if:
- You’re at or near your goal weight.
- You have mild to moderate skin laxity, dimpling or cellulite on the buttocks.
- You’d like a firmer, smoother result without surgery or downtime.
You should wait or ask your provider first if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Have a pacemaker, electronic implant or metal implant in the area.
- Have a blood or platelet disorder or take blood thinners (relevant to PRP).
- Have an active skin infection, rash or open wounds in the area.
- Tend to form keloid scars.
What to expect
A session usually takes about an hour. The Exilis portion feels like deep warmth. Numbing cream is applied before microneedling. You may have redness and mild tenderness for a day or two.
Aftercare is simple:
- Wear loose, clean clothing on the day of treatment.
- Avoid hot tubs, swimming pools and hard workouts for 24 to 48 hours.
- Keep the area clean and avoid tanning or sun exposure.
Sessions and results
Most people need a series of sessions, and results build over 2 to 3 months as new collagen forms. Maintenance sessions help keep the improvement.

Frequently asked questions
Is a thermal butt lift the same as a Brazilian butt lift?
No. A Brazilian butt lift is surgery that moves fat from one area to the buttocks. A thermal butt lift is non-surgical and tightens and smooths the skin rather than adding volume.
Does the thermal butt lift hurt?
The radiofrequency feels like deep warmth. Numbing cream keeps microneedling comfortable.
How long do results last?
Collagen built by the treatment lasts, but natural aging continues. Maintenance sessions help keep results.
Can it help with stretch marks?
Microneedling can improve the texture and appearance of some stretch marks, especially newer ones. Results vary.
Is there downtime?
Little to none. Most people go back to their normal routine the same day, with mild redness for a day or two.
